Ilgiz Fazulzyanov is the winner of numerous prestigious jewellery art exhibitions in Russia and internationally
Ilgiz Fazulzyanov was born in 1968 in Zelenodolsk, Republic of Tatarstan. In 1990, after graduating from art school with a design degree, he founded a stained glass and silk-painting studio in Kazan. In 1992 he opened his first jewellery workshop, dedicated to reviving the traditional crafts of the Volga Tatars. Since 2012, Ilgiz F. has been represented in Paris, Geneva, Tokyo and New York.
Characteristically, his collections differ from city to city — yet the style and signature remain constant.
In 2011 and 2013, Ilgiz's works were awarded the Grand Prix of the International Jewellery Design Excellence Award at the Hong Kong International Jewellery Fair — one of the world's leading jewellery events. No other artist has ever won the competition twice in a row. His numerous accolades at other prestigious international competitions, along with recognition from experts at Cartier, Christie's (London) and Bonham's (New York), confirm his exceptional talent.
